Very nice piece.  We are going to go as far as this kid can take us as a PG over he next few years.  I think he's going to be very good and seems like a good kid.

I'm more excited about him as a player than I was with Harrison,  Harkless, and anyone since Showtime. We haven't had a really good  PG here in a while.

I have an odd premonition that his freshman year will be his best for some reason.

What's our plan for guarding pick and rolls (switches) or bigger point guards?

How did teams like Uconn do it when they had Napier and Boatright?  Team defense.

Marcus is a hawk defensively, I expect him to be a great on ball defender in college the same way he was in HS. Shamorie is also known for his ability to read offenses very well.

I actually think that we will be able to press teams this year with this duo up front joined by Ellison, Yakwe, Sima. These 5 should form a great defensive presence.

The program really hasn't been able to press well since the 2010-11' season when Boothe,Hardy, Paris, DJ, Brownlee and JB did a great job of winning games through their full court D.

With everything that I have read surrounding Marcus since his Chicago days, one theme is constant, a very high basketball IQ. I look forward to the months ahead w him leading this team.
