I know it's still early in the season and we'll obviously take a hit in conference play, but a little observation..
We're currently 16th in the nation in 3-point Field Goal % at .410. (Creighton is actually #1 at .453) and 9th in 3-pointers made per game with 10.5
Just for a quick comparison, in Lavin's second year (similarly young team) we were 341st in the nation (out of 347 teams) in 3-point Field Goal % at .241 and 339th per game with 3.7.
I think Mullin and his staff is obviously putting a huge emphasis on this and think it's great going forward with the evolution of the game and how potential recruits are watching the NBA stars of today.
