While he didn't play many minutes, I would give pog honorable mention to Williams. He was efficient scoring the ball and pulled down 5 boards in 15 mins. Most importantly, he showed how much better these guards could be if they had a big that could consistently accept a pass and score off the pick and roll. I think ponds and Lovett's shooting %s and assts would be even higher if a guy like Williams could stay on the court (he committed some dumb fouls). If Williams has eligibility left and can stay on the court, he seems like a great offensive weapon and his defensive intensity has also been great -- he clearly wants to beat his man and has no problem diving for loose balls. Def my favorite big of those group, just wish he could get consistently healthy. It would be great to see what he could do with consistent time playing, practicing , and conditioning.
