Exactly. Plus it just sucks to start a game getting killed down low. Why look overmatched to start a game? And honestly I think Ahmed is really suited to 6th man role.

Owens is the only player off the bench who changes the dynamics of the game.

I just don't think it makes much of a difference. Might as well start the senior.  It's a good precedent.

Yeah not wrong often but happily take it this time. Simon keeps plays anywhere like this on boards would obviously make us much better. Clark still finding his way needs to grab more rebounds but is in tough spot.

3-0 so don't have to do anything but don't think if you just switched Ahmed for Owens would have same dynamic? Plus would keep Clark from fouling out of every game.

Owens brings energy off the bench and a defensive presence. Bringing BA off the bench would emphasize his tendency to force things, because he'd think he was supposed to be Vinnie Johnson.
