Mike loves his JUCOs but only brought in 1 grad transfer at AR in 8 years. He prefers to have guys in his system and develop them. 9/10 times he will take on a late bloomer like this guy Chris rather than a grad transfer.

FWIW, this is a player Mike has watched since February or January. Mike was hot after his teammate Clarence Nadolny who has since committed to Texas Tech.

Oh ok, good to know he has been watching him for a while. He looks better in the videos than a 2 star recruit. In a perfect world this is a type of kid who used to redshirt.

Sounds like Roberts. Could be a good 4 year player. Certainly can’t expect much from him his first year other than providing some depth , which we could use. Would breathe easier when we get a pg.

Sounds more like Owens. Roberts is thin but on a whole different level than those boys. Calhoun have had Roberts entering this upcoming season at 225.

A two star player is a two star player, generally not Big East type player.
