So can you tell me which team with great coaching from last year did well with a Point Guard who doesn't do much?

Don't misconstrue what I said. I said doesn't do "too much". Big difference from what you incorrectly rephrased. Like I said as long as our PG doesn't turn the ball over and sets others up then that's all we can ask for. Breaking down defenses would be nice too but ya gotta walk before you can run. Anything above that in terms of scoring and being one of the main options is gravy for this team. Although McGriff does have some nice break down ability from the tape I've watched. We'll see if it translates.

1983 St John's, Bobby Kelly. It was last century not last year but I think it's a righteous analogy.

So if someone called you stupid, I guess it would be less offensive than if they called you,"too" stupid.

You can win with a PG that doesn’t do anything special if you are better 2-5 than your opponent. I don’t think we have that type of team so we will need to somehow play even at the position over 40 minutes of basketball between 2-3 players.

That could mean wearing them down with style and pace of play as well as with depth.

If Coach brings his “40 minutes of Hell” as advertised, that will require depth. Hopefully, LJ and Heron will only have to play 30-32 minutes v 38 per game. Otherwise they will be exhausted by February. You know, the look we had toward the end of last season.

You should try not misrepresenting people so much. If people like you were more charitable the world would be a better place.

Wow! I didn't know I had the power to make the world a better place. I misrepresented no one. His own words represent him. Possibly the world would be a better place without pompous asses like you.

There’s a good chance Anderson makes the tourney this season, Anderson’s best teams are when he has really good guards, and he has the Best two guard combo he’s ever had, big mean have never really hurt his style, he just needs 6’7 wings that run the floor.
