TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) -- Freshman Nate Miles has enrolled at the College of Southern Idaho after being expelled earlier this month from the University of Connecticut.
The 6-foot-7 forward from Toledo, Ohio, arrived in Twin Falls on Tuesday. He started classes at the junior college Wednesday and took part in his first practice with the team.
The 20-year-old Miles was expelled from UConn after being arrested for violating a restraining order in September. The complaint has since been dismissed.
Junior college rules require that Miles serve a 16-week probationary period, meaning he will not be able to take play in any Golden Eagles games until Feb. 6.
