On 1050 today- Calapari

Michael Kay was talking to a college basketball anaylst about 2:30 today. I think his name is Rothstein (not sure). He seemed to know what he was talking about. They were discussing Calapari and Kentucky. He said Calapari wouldn't be interested in Kentucky. He mentioned the job he really wants is St. John's. The guy then says he would less then he would get some where else (still 2.5 Million) to come to NYC. He also mentions that St. John's could be a top program with the right coach but has to live in the present. He goes on to say that 1985 was A LONG TIME AGO! and we must move on. Again I don't know much about this guy (not even sure his name) but he gave me hope. Imagine getting Calapari.

If the Johnnies got Cal I think the fan base would nearly double lol.  In my school it would least increase by around 50 times.  Although there is only 4 STJ fans in a school of 1400 kids.

kentucky is gonna unload some major $$$$$$$$ at cal VERY SOON...we still havent fired our coach yet...so i think its safe to say we yet again missed out on cal

I guess that guy doesn't really know what he's talking about!  Cal's plenty interested if he hasn't signed already.
