A Top 25 List of Jersey Talent
« on: April 07, 2009, 02:38:24 PM »
From Northstar Basketball (http://blog.northstarbball.com/2009/04/06/new-jerseys-top-25-ballers-spring-edition.aspx).  What do you think, besides the fact that we're not up on the top-level talent across the Hudson.

Who wants to take a crack at making a similar list for the NYC metro area?  Trabinowitz?  Classof2013? KOB?  Choz?  KJD?:

I thought Pankey would be higher on that list, but there are some impressive names there

Thanks, PMG.  I'm looking for one of all classes as well - it's an interesting way of looking at an area's talent (vs year by year, where the Big East talent might drop off after 10 or 15).  And dang, I've barely heard of most of the guys below 11... does that say something about the city talent?

Only two kids I know anything about below 11 are Brandon Frazier and Justin Exum.

Both solid guards but I would not say either would play in the MAAC right now.

Hope he's better than former Johnny and Brentwood alum, Tom Bayne.   :'(

Believe it or not, Frazier is being recruited by some Big East schools.  He's a pure shooter.  I don't think he's at all a high-major player yet but I would def. say he's D1.

I def agree with you on Exum.  He looks like a borderline D2/D1 prospect at this point.
