In our 7 losses this season we've shot over 15 three pointers in a game and have been dreadful doing so.
Miami 3-20
Niagara 12-22
Ohio 7-21
Tulane 6-20
VT 4-15
Cuse 5-23
UConn 6-16
Recently our wins have come with less 3pt shots and more FT attempts. Key to our success has been getting to the line more than 20 times. Only in two of our losses did we get to the free throw line 20+ times(Tulane and Cuse).
I tried to look at individual numbers that saw similar patterns but there wasn't any. Every player has been equally bad and equally good at different times in wins and losses. The only number that remains constant is too many missed three pointers and poor FG%. We need to work on getting better open looks aka run an offense.
