PHILADELPHIA - It's been a long time since St.John's fielded a basketball team worth getting excited about, but the time has finally come. The Red Storm is beginning to look like a force. Let the buzz begin.

The Johnnies were everything they were supposed to be last night as they posted a 55-48 win over Temple in the Philly Hoop Group Classic at the Palestra. They looked the way a good team in a superior conference should look in overpowering a very good mid-major.
