Anthony Mason Jr. has been fighting physical battles for the better part of the last season and a half. Now he must fight an emotional one.
Mason played just three games last season before a tendon injury in his right foot forced him to take a medical redshirt in his senior season.
The 6-foot-7 swingman threw himself into rehabilitation and was just regaining form when a hamstring injury shelved him for the first 14 games of this season. Including today's game against DePaul in Carnesecca Arena, there are 14 regular-season games left in Mason's final college season.
