Gee, what a surprise Mr. O'Connell.

Do you also predict snow for today?

The chants should be "Fire Harry", not fire Norm.
If you want to stop the devil, don't waste your time with his pawns.

Speaking, of O'Connell....  I saw O'Connell on Courtside with Seth Davis on CBS College Sports, earlier this evening.... Davis asked O'Connell about the St. John's situation (Norm Roberts and his job) and O'Connell responded (paraphrase), "The decision will be made by one person.... Father Harrington. He's (Harrington) more concerned about the off-the-court issues rather than what's happening on the court.... Regardless, of their record. There haven't been anyone in trouble and the team has a good GPA. He's fine with that. Anyone that tells you they know what is gonna happen with Roberts after the season doesn't know."

I still believe there is something to PMG's rumor, but I tell 'ya what.... I hate hearing such things from O'Connell. Maybe, O'Connell is assuming, as we all are doing. But, if that's what it takes to satisfy Harrington then he should've coached the team himself and saved the dollars shelled out to Roberts. IMO, he paid top dollars for a nanny.  LOL

We're being run like a daycare center.  It's so sad that you can't do anything, but laugh at it.

Bring Norm back and y'all will think I had a Presa Canario on my arse....  That's how fast I'll be done with this program.

I tell you what...IF the fans show up tomorrow night wearing bags on their hands with ain't John's on them...They will be on TV, sportscenter, and will be a P.R. nightmare for Fr.Harrington...I remember  they said the same things about Escherick at GT during his last season...He was coming back...Signed up...and the fans gave GT a P.R. nightmare...I wonder if our fans are finally ready to tell FR. Harrington what we think of his program???

Granted fellow loser DePaul is no model, but why does this elderly, fatalistic priest believe that being a Vincentian means that there is no reason to strive for success?

If all it takes is recruiting kids who can miss the NIT repeatedly and achieve a B/B- average with tutoring at St. John's, then they ought to cut their costs, fire Roberts, and just bring in the high school basketball coach at Regis.
