maybe not 'historically subpar programs', but at that time 'currently subpar', fare enough? either way he would do wonders here.

What's fair is if you say that Pitino's a good coach, the end. He doesn't specialize in anything other than that. He doesn't make subpar programs elite because he doesn't stay anywhere long enough to and he hasn't coached at a subpar program in 20 years because he doesn't have to. Sure, he's a pretty good coach - or he used to be anyway. Now he's more of a tortured little dwarf in a stupid white Colonel Sanders suit whose raging megalomania leads him to compare his restaurant floor orgasms to nine eleven. I find him pretty repulsive and am happy that his coming here is a pipe dream. IMO only Calamari is a worse prospect.

ok so you dont like the pipe dream coaches. if you were the sju admin, who would you want coaching the basketball team?
