You take Knight and you add Cluess or Jackson as his heir-apparent.  I'd sign for that any day.

me too...the only reason i didnt list a current head coach is bc those guys would probably pass on an assistants job and wait for a head coaching position...cluess might not bc the offers havent exactly been rolling in for him...and i didnt say jackson bc i really dont know what his interest in college ball is, let alone being an assistant in college ball

No.  Please no.  For what PMG, Choz, and mjdinkins said.  Get the stars outta your eyes.  He's over the hill and a short term solution for a school that needs to consider a long-term fix.  It's going to be years before any of us could credibly say "this team's going to the sweet sixteen in multiple years."  He and the administration, he and the New York media, he and the AAU guys... it's a toss up as to which one would become the overpublicized blowup.

And honestly, people slurp his "tough coaching" but you can't throw chairs across the court like you're a petulant child anymore.  You can't throw things, or hit people.  (I thought there was an incident where he showed how his players were playing like "s**t" with visual reference from his own underwear as well.)

Come on. He's an overgrown child, and he leads by hypocritical, hypercompetitive words.  You got to control yourself and not act like a child if you're gonna lead by example.
