"Skinner isn't expected to get the job at St. John's; ESPN analyst and former UCLA coach Steve Lavin was on campus Tuesday, meeting with St. John's president Father Donald Harrington and former head coach Lou Carnesecca. St. John's officials were hoping to introduce Lavin as their new coach on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden, site of the National Invitation Tournament semifinals."

Can't see us backing out at this point. I believe we will do everything necessary for Lavin to sign on the dotted line today and thereby usher in a whole era for SJU basketball.
