yea, aau guys are basically saying if lavin hires people they like, they'll send kids here...more important than his hiring, the hiring of his staff...the next week or so is probably bigger for this program than the last week

its cause AAU is bigger than high school for these kids. I played AAU for high school and its almost like these kids play high school for AAU. They are playing against the best so thats when the coaches come out and watch them mainly.

to give you a perspective on how big AAU is, Gordon Hayward never played on a name AAU team, and, as such, was only a 3 star prospect on rivals and espn gave him a grade of 40, which, according to the site,  means they didnt have enough info on him to give him a real rating
