After starting off at Winchendon in Massachusetts, the rising junior decided it was best to make a change and leave for Notre Dame Prep. The 6-foot-9 forward may be skinny but he can play. Arguably one of the best players in his grade, Birch has gotten much better on the defensive side of the game. His shot blocking ability has increased, as well. He must improve on his jump shot, as well as his face up skills. For the time being, Khem Birch is a very good player for his age.

His list consists of "Arizona, Villanova, Syracuse, Providence, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Ohio State, Siena, Massachusetts, UConn, Rutgers and St. John's."
