Just that Lavin took a LOT of grief at UCLA in the later years for supposedly doing exactly that for Ced Bozeman - promising not to bring in another PG - and it really burned him his last two years, as Ced couldn't stay healthy (3 surgeries in 2 years), which led to Ryan Walcott and Brian Morrison and even Rico Hines having to handle PG duties - and led to a losing season and firing in 2003. I just don't believe that if Lavs HAS a chance to sign a PG he thinks is good enuf to play for him, that he'll pass. He'll worry about stroking ruffled feathers later....
