Let's Be there on October 15th.

 ;)As an alumnus of St. Johns, I find myself looking forward to  this season and the future. Nothing would make me feel better than to see a full house in Carnesecca Arena on the 15th. With all the effort Coach Lavin and his staff have put into recruiting and as hard as I hear the current players are working to improve, I believe that they deserve all the support we can give them.

I hope to be there if I can get a ticket or two

is this event for Alumni? I never went to Midnight Madness (even when a student) what is going to take place on the 15th?

As much as I'd like to believe that my presence, and the presence of all of the other season ticket holders will make a significant difference, I know it won't.

This is an event for the students.

It has always been intended to get them excited for the start of a new bball season. And when I say students, I mean recruits too.

They need to see that SJU has a student body that cares. We've lost that part of our program-and right now it's the only part, at least on paper, that's still missing.

SJU has how many students? 19K? It shouldn't be asking too much to fill up a 6K arena.

Make it happen kids. We've done our part, and now it's your turn.

It's a fun night Tony. A great way to introduce the basketball team to the school in addition to having a fun side of things with skits, musical performances, and scrimmages.

Generally a lot of vendors, give-aways, and other promotions. You should definitely come if your schedule avails it.

St. John's wants a cross-section of students, fans, alumni, friends, all interested parties. The place will rock. See you there.

Must agree Theo, I am real pumped to go tomorrow.  I haven't been this excited for St. John's basketball in a long time, this is awesome.  Hope to see you all there!!
