At 211 degrees, water is hot. At 212 degrees, water is boiling and with boiling water, comes steam and with steam, you can power a train. At the 212 Hoops Academy up in Dobbs Ferry, New York, former assistant coach of St. Johns University, Fred Quartlebaum is providing kids from second grade all the way to high school with the steam they need to power their train in life.

A lot of times people look at sports and say that it’s just a game. What they don’t understand is that sports, and in this case basketball, is not just a game for those who play it or instruct it like Coach Q, but it’s a way to learn life skills.

Great to see coach Q land on his feet and doing something positive. This means that the entire coaching staff under Norm Roberts is gainfully employed post St. John's.
