Maybe get Coker and Polee out there, and see what they can do.

ugh, I think Polee has been given more than enough opportunities to prove himself but he just looks awful out there.  He takes terrible shots, can't rebound and gets just pushed around.  I'd like to see Evans' minutes decrease by about 8.5 though.

At least Polee's time out there wouldn't be wasted. It's not like there are so many options.

No matter who plays it is going to be a struggle for us to get to the tourney. This team is just not that good. With that being said, even though I am giving Lavin a pass this year, I think he is fiddling too much with the rotation. Start Burrell, Brownlee, DJ, Hardy and Arnold. Horne, Stith, Polee and Evans come off the bench in that order. DJ,Brownlee and Hardy should be on the court as much as possible and Stith and Arnold should never be on the court at the same time. This rotation gives you your best shot at winning!

Malik Stith and Malik Boothe account for a total of 25% of the available minutes!  THAT IS ABSURD!

Burrell, Polee, Evans, and Coker accounted for the SAME amount of minutes as the 2 of them combined.  That just isn't right.  Our 4 big men may not have played great, but its ridiculous when they account for as many minutes as our 2 pgs.  They need time to develop and get rebounds and get into the flow.  Hell Brownlee only got as many minutes as boothe and stith each.

The small lineup may work at times, but against a team like st. bonnie's something is to be said for trying to overpower them.  Boothe and Stith should NOT be accounting for 30% of the minutes.  20% max, IMO.  40 between the two of them should be the high end, IMO.

Horne, Hardy, DJ, and Brownlee should have most minutes. I would like to see Coker play more because we could use his size. I would also like to see Polee play more. Stith and Polee are going to be a part of the team next year at least as backup players and I would like to see them play. I think if you play Polee with Burrell or Coker and not Brownlee you allow him to play more of the wing than having to bang down low with much bigger and stronger players.

Here is what I'd target the minutes to be:

Hardy - 30
Brownlee - 30
Horne - 25
DJ - 22 (until he pulls his head out of his arse)
Stith - 20
Boothe - 20
Burrell - 20
Polee - 20
Evans + Coker + Roberts - 13 or less

I agree with that lineup but I think Stith has earned a spot over Boothe.  Stith 23 minutes Boothe 17.  They definitely should not be on the court at the same time.

I would have no problem with Stith starting over Boothe, but like you indicated, they should probably be splitting time either way. They should not be allowed to play to gether again! Ever! Even board games. If one is playing monopoly, the other can take his place but they should not be allowed to play at the same time.

I think the offense facilitates better through Boothe than Stith. Stith brings a nice change of pace defensively at spurts but usually when St. John's has Stith in for extended minutes is when scoring droughts occur.

Stith has improved in some ways, but he brings up the ball, and never sees Hardy, or anyone for that matter when they are wide open.

We are just so weak at point. It killed us Tuesday. That and 10 missed free throws.
