Just makes it a dreary place to watch a game.

The crowd wasn't bad and it wasn't "dreary".  In fact, it was a darn enjoyable and exciting game until the inevitibly bad conclusion.  I've seen much worse crowds on a weeknight against a less than marquee non-conf. opponent.  The fans were actually quite boisterous in the last minute and a half and went nuts when Hilton made the inbounds steal and fed Prez for the layup.

I much prefer games at Alumni to the Garden.  Even without beer,  which is saying a lot in my case as I do have a powerful hankering for the suds.

The only way I would even consider going to a game at Louie arena is if they find a way for Mullin, Berry, Jackson , Artest and David Russell to hop in Doc Brown's Delorean go back in time to when they were young then come back to the present in their younger forms as John Calipari found a way for them to become eligible. Then maybe if they served free beer and Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johanson, Minka Kelly, Jessica Biel and Eva Mendes cheered topless I would strongly consider trekking to Queens to catch a game. But even then only if they were playing Uconn or Duke.
