St. John's could have fallen into a big hole early against Providence on Saturday. The offense wasn't really clicking and shots that had been falling weren't going down, but then Justin Burrell took matters into his own hands.

The 6-8 senior drove for a reverse layup, put back a missed hook shot and finished a fast break with a dunk off a lob from Justin Brownlee. He had eight points on 4-for-5 shooting in that span and finished with 13.

Burrell is just beginning to catch the attention of some NBA scouts.

He has an NBA body and a nice skill set but he needs to play like this for the rest of the year for anyone to take notice of him. Brownlee also has a nice inside game but he is a like small to play PF in the NBA. I think Burrell should use that little 12ft jumper he has more often because we have seen he can make that shot.
