Paris had a breakthrough year his sophomore year. His junior year his stats went down a little (it can be debated why). This year while his minute and point averages may be even less, he always seems to come up huge when we need him the most. Thoughts on how to get Paris more involved?

i think his role is fine, play tough d, rebound, get out and run and hit open shots. when paris struggles is when he tries to do to much imho
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

He is more involved. 2 years ago he was the leading scorer on a terrible team. Lot of good that did.

By playing defense, and getting after it, the intensity he brings off the bench has changed this team.

Lavin had found the right mix of players, and Horne is a big part of that.

thats a good point but my point is if he averaged 14 points his soph year, then he clearly has the potential to score more then he is currently. Why isnt he? i think part of it is due to dwights transfer to stj and his role, but why shouldnt they both be able to coexist on the court at maximum potential?

He is not scoring as much because he is not playing the same minutes or getting the same shots. I think Sophomore year DJ missed some games, Mase was hurt, and Hardy wasn't here.

while his points per game are down, other than FT's he is shooting at significantly higher percentages and his TO's/game are down.  A role player who is playing his role as designed to the betterment of the overall team.
