SU zone
« on: January 12, 2011, 11:36:05 PM »
SU zone was amazing. We have no point guard, and it killed us tonight. This was painful. They earned it. It was the men against the boys tonight. We asked for a test, and we're not there yet.

We need to regroup and recognize that we're not going to beat a team of this caliber. It hurts, but without 3 point shooting, we're toast against this zone. I think we can hang w the bottom half of the BE, but this team just manhandled us.

Burrell still hasn't learned how to finish. Not that anyone else has, but he brings the ball down to his knees under the basket and turns it over. We are the veteran team, and we were outsmarted by the freshman and sophs.

That's what hurts the most.

cuse could have been beaten tonight and im not sure it was the missed 3 pointers that lost it for us. the team just wont win if brownlee and hardy both are missing shots
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

I agree on both accounts.  I think it had more to do with us being a tad too late on passes; not always making the correct passes and players being indecisive in what they wanna do.  It also wouldn't hurt, if we could hit some shots behind the arc.

Not to mention, we're not gonna beat many teams when Brownlee and Hardy doesn't do squat.
