No, I'm not. I doubt that it would have been a secret for this long if it happened in the game. He was on the court when the buzzer sounded. Could this have happened in practice? Who knows? Maybe someone saw his finger wrapped up and assumed it was broken.

People need to remember that these sites are news sometimes and total bs other times.

Unfortunately in my experience with these sites, where there is smoke there is usually fire.  Hope I'm wrong.

Don't know -- I have flashbacks of reading reports about injuries to Burrell and Mase on these sites before they became official.  Typically there's a lag time of at least a day before there is any kind of official release.  I have absolutely no independent info, but my guess is that there's probably something to the story. We'll see.

Last year the a$$wipe punk from Puke stepped under JB1 spraining his ankle causing him to miss several contests.  Now the Puke goons have gone and injured JB2's thumb. 

I hate that whining, crybaby team of floppers and their complaining to the refs even though he gets every single call coach.

I'm glad we spanked them.  Too bad we couldn't have run up the score worse.
