Really sad Troy was big time on the AND1 circuit. It's sad to see someone go so young.

Dave Snowden first met Mark Jackson's younger brother, Troy, when Dave and Mark were classmates at St. John's. Troy was 11 or 12 at the time.

At dusk, July 9, 1991, Dave and Troy -- the latter going on to become known exclusively as street ball's "Escalade" of And1/ESPN fame -- were hanging out in front of Jackson's mother's house on 197th Street and Murdoch Avenue in St. Alban's, Queens. They were waiting for Mark and his wife, Desiree. The foursome planned to go bowling. Suddenly, two cars filled with gang-bangers screeching out of nowhere, drove by and aimlessly opened fire.
