I agree peter.   We will just promote mo, i think, if we lose anyone.

I was saying Rohrssen because I believe we will lose more than just Dunlap., especially with (most likely) 3 MAAC jobs opening up. Manhattan,Marist and Siena.

Also FYI. Word has it, Hewitt out at Georgia Tech and back to Siena a possibility

Your saying Siena would fire their coach after 1 year?
I don't think so.

I never said fire

congrats on the blow out win marco. I would be real happy if mitch stepped down but i dont see him gone for a couplle years now. one thing is for sure, he cant coach

Ya I think they will face mass defections if he stays on. The players dont like playing for him. He did an awful job with 2 Preseason All Maac  players. IVe read Mitch will cite health reasons as his excuse to step down

I think Dunlap is the only one that has a chance of leaving and i think that is a slim chance. He's getting paid a great sum of money to be top assistant here.  He'll stick around for all the freshmen next year.  I'm not sure the lure of Wyoming is enough to make him leave.  Anyone else on the staff is easily replaceable....but i don't think anyone is going anywhere.

Negative, I just think other schools will be hot on the trail of the SJU staff. Especially the locals

Actually 4  MAAC jobs might be opening up, St Peter's John Dunne just threw his name into the ring for the Monmouth job

It would really make sense for him to leave for Wyoming was in Southern California.

The University of Wyoming is less than two hours away from a house that Dunlap still owns.  It's beautiful country, and he'd be moving back to his second home.  $600,000 there goes a helluva'lot further than the $400,000 he's making here.   I'm very fearful of losing Dunlap. I really want him here for the first few years with this new class.

I think he can tailor up a great scheme with the athletes we have coming in and his teaching is second to none.  That cannot be replaced simply by promoting Mo or bringing in a recruiter like Slice.  We have the ahtletes and now we need a teacher.

Couldn't Keady just take a more proactive role?

Rest assured Dunlap interest is  in a HC job in a major conference. As for these MCAA opening as well as Dunlap this time next year if the freshmen coming in perform they all will be hot items. Right now the realize they would be moving a year early.

Utah might be opening up, and they're going to the Pac 10 - next year? Year after? And word is there's dissatisfaction with Jim Boylen.
