It may have looked like basketball, but Saturday’s Back to School festival - put on by the Shelton Jones Foundation at Bolden Mack Park in Amityville - was an example of the kind of good things that can happen when individuals and institutions work together to provide community-wide mentorship for young people.

Nice find JJ, love to see St Johns represented in the local neighborhoods working with the kids, and usually where the guys came from.  Glad to see no mention of laptops stolen during the event!

Mr.Jones killed my Red Devils when I thought we were on our way to a NY State Championship!! Kid was amazing....we had no answer for him.
