We are very lucky to have him. Especially with Lavin being sick. It's like having 2 head coaches.

Luck has nothing to do with it, Lavin knew what was  needed ( a very strong staff )and he got  them

Embarrased to say I'd forgotten Mike had the similar situation when he was lead asst at Arizona when Lute Olsen had his health issues that led to leaves of absense and mike had to take over running the wildcats...

Also pretty cool "here's how Hubie handled a shortage of players when I was his assistant".....
