We could use another outside shooter. When D LO is off or fouled out the opponant just clogs up the paint and dares us to shoot from outside.

I do think Phil Greene will be better playing less minutes, and off the ball more. He's shown he can knock down wide open J's.

Well when the NY Rangers have more power play goals then St. John's has made three pointers, it will be difficuly to win games...

That being said we need to hit some crucia shots at the foul line, we were within a couple of freethrows from doing something special.

We shot 70% from the free-throw line and lost by 20...

No offense, but foul shots weren't the problem today.   G-town being taller and deeper was the problem.

Yes, and we have to find a way to shake D'Ange free for some shots. He works too hard for his shot and then
when he beats his man has to shoot over a double team situation. Don't know if we can get that done this year.

When we were on that roll I think if we hit a couple of more freethrows we would have been within one. Maybe it would not have matter because the game escaped us, again.

Gift was lost in this game. He didn't know which way to turn.
Harrison was forcing everything. He threw up shots that looked like the fat dude at half time

garrets constantly improving

He still can't score...

You must've missed his and1. What a surprise, someone compliments one of our players, and you're right there with the negativity.

Whoopidy doo...has he even reach double-digits in points yet?  I'm talking about combined, for all games he's played in...does he have 10 points on the season yet?

Does points measure a player's talent? improvement?

Um Dave where exactly has he shown this ability? The stat sheet says the exact opposite. If the stat sheet could talk it would say" Phil Greene should never shoot a jumper again. For the rest of his life. Even in the backyard just fooling around. He might take his nephews eye out with an errant shot." This is not me saying any of this. It is the stat sheet speaking through me.

Is this another case where Phil is a deadeye shooter during warmups like Dele Coker?
If this is the case he will then join the Steve Shurina allstar team of great warmup shooters who never mad an actual shot in a game. Current lineup would be Coker, Marcus Broadnax, latest addition Greene and captain Shurina. We still need a 5th.

People are just trying to look for the positive, and fabricating potential.  Phil Greene has shown nothing to indicate he will ever be a solid Big East player.

The rest of the kids have loads of potential...although I'm still up in the air about Amir.  Gotta see more.

This is your opinion not a fact.

Personally I think Phil Greene has shown a lot of potential but he's not ready to play 35 minutes like most freshman in the Big East.

You're really breaking news here, Dave.
