What a travesty that the Knicks never hooked up with him.  Between that and the Ewing thing I've never rooted for them since the 80s.  Whenever they've had players I liked like Lee and Nate they always immediately got rid of them.  I'm sure they'll do the same with Lin when they finally stumble over a PG with some ability.  Never was a Melo fan and Stoudamire isn't amazing either.  Their bench is OK but I don't see them going anywhere.  Looking forward to the Brooklyn Nets.

With all due respect to my all-time favorite player.  The face of the franchise should be that of my second all-time favorite player,  Rick Barry.  Only players ever to have a higher Nba scoring average were first name only guys.  Wilt and Michael.

Another first name only guy.  I see he averaged 38 the same year Wilt averaged 50.  Did they suspend defense that year?

Inexusably my bad for forgetting the great Elgin.
