Good luck to him.  Norm's best bet is to hang on to Self's coattails for as long at possible. Still surprised that he couldn't parlay a big east head coaching job into at least his own head gig at lower level.

he wants to remain in the big time and self is a great friend to him.  there's no way he'd go to a mid major to work his way up.  he's a professional assistant and self believes a great one.

Norm & Bill Self are the best of friends, Norm's wife is from Kansas and his son is on the team as walk on. Billy Donovan doesn't need anyone to get him a player.

Yes he went to Tulsa.  I have to imagine this will hurt them with big men recruits going forward.  Manning helped pump out some top big men to the NBA.
