RESUME GAME
Think you know your NCAA Tournament contenders? Well, here's a chance to prove it. Take a look at the two resumes and then our explanation as to why we'd chose one team over the other. Disagree? Tell us why below.

TEAM A
Overall Record: 13-7
Conference Record: 5-3
RPI Rank: 51
SOS Rank: 27
KenPom Rating: 90
Home Record: 8-3
Road Record: 4-2
Neutral Court: 1-2
Good Wins (In RPI Top 50): at Cincinnati (27), Notre Dame (48)
Bad Losses (Outside of RPI Top 75): vs. Murray State (96), at San Francisco (148), UNC-Asheville (176)
Conference RPI Rank: 3

TEAM B
Overall Record: 13-6
Conference Record: 2-3
RPI Rank: 56
SOS Rank: 67
KenPom Rating: 75
Home Record: 8-2
Road Record: 4-3
Neutral Court: 1-1
Good Wins (In RPI Top 50): vs. Syracuse (9)
Bad Losses (Outside of RPI Top 75): St. Bonaventure (135), Canisius (138)
Conference RPI Rank: 7

If we were on the Selection Committee ... We're taking Team A. Yes, it's incredibly difficult to overlook the three losses outside of the RPI top 75 -- including two north of 130. But the fact of the matter is, A has played the tougher schedule. Even though a closer examination of Team B reveals that it has played more quality opponents, the fact is that Team B failed to capitalize in all but one of those games. And then when you factor in the two home losses to teams ranked 135th and 138th, it pushes them from the field.
Team A is St. John's.
Team B is Temple.

Should move up a few spots on Lunardi's list.  Maryland, Iowa State, Boise St and Nova all lost tonight.  Let's get some revenge on G'Town Saturday!!

Time to see what we're really made of.

RT @adamamin: #stjbb is feeling great, by itself in 3rd, but tied w/Indiana for toughest remaining schedule (via BPI).

Denied.

It comes down to how we finish in the conference.  If we go 11-7 in conference, it will be really difficult (maybe impossible) to leave us out regardless of BET.  10-8 plus 1-1 in BeT also gets us in I think.  Does 9-9 plus two wins in BET do it? Maybedepending on who we beat.  I def think we need to get to 19, and I think the higher in reg season standings we are the better.
