STJ 2008/2009 vs current team looking just at offensive numbers. Both young teams, the 08/09 rotation included no upperclassmen. The soph were Boothe, Horne, DJ, Burrell, Evans, Coker and Thomas. The frosh were Edmondson and Roberts. Talent wise it would look to be a mismatch, but the numbers indicate otherwise. Pretty much identical on a per game basis and the 08/09 team was actually more efficient offensively when you look at points per shot.

Most to all would agree it has to be improved going forward. This team should put it in the hoop at a better rate than 08/09. From this novice perspective trying to keep it simple, consistent bad shots early in the shot clock (esp deep jumpers in half court off one pass) and the teams ability in general to get good shots late in the clock are an issue. They are related issues. Missing DLO helps one problem but hurts the other as he is one of the few who can create his own shot late in the clock.
