Walter Berry set the all time single season points record with 828 total points while averaging 23 ppg in the 86'-87' season. If he can surpass this feat, he will be sitting alone atop the all time scoring list.

Looks like a lock to finish #3.  Passing Sealy or Mullin would require a monster season coupled with a deep run in both tournaments.

Without injuries he'd have to average just under 10 points per game to get third.  I'd agree that's doable.

If they get 2 games in each tourney then he still has to average almost 24 to get to #1, that's not happening. 

I think the difference in the game in terns of rules and in the level of competition is so vast, that even if he does finish third, it doesn't meant very much anymore. Frankly, it should have been meaningless when Lopez did it.
