Grantland BE Preview

Has D'Lo as best player in conference.  Has them out of the top 3.  No specific order after 3.  Doesn't have them in the NCAA.  Not really getting the vibee he is exactly an expert on the conference.

Titus was a walk on at Ohio State a few years ago.  He knows college hoops but definitely does not focus on the Big East.

Seems like he picks SJU 4th and has 3 teams getting a bid.  That is a pretty reasonable assessment. Obviously we think/hope the conference gets 4 or 5 bids and SJU performs up to its potential.

"But can we talk about the sack on this guy?"

Perfectly exhibiting ESPN's journalistic standards.

Guess not a fan of Bill Raftery either then.

Loved the profile on Harrison. It's what makes Grantland so much fun and ESPN so much suck.

Ummm, Grantland is ESPN.  Just that ESPN realized they needed another outlet to a) keep simmons (who will likely leave next year anyway) and b) offer an alternative perspective to the BMOC Douchebag persona of their mainstream network.  I'm glad they chose the cynical, sarcastic, pop culture obsessed stoner as well but let's not think that anything gets on Grantland without ESPN's approval.

Raftery is ok.  My comment was made somewhat with tongue in cheek.  Actually, Grantland occasionally has interesting and/or insightful articles.  I just didn't find this article one of them.

"What about how he dribbles with no real purpose, probes the defense, and then ultimately says “screw it” and bombs a contested 25-foot fadeaway that often goes in? Harrison even kicks his legs on his jumper, for god’s sake"

SO GOOD!
