Big east games today (Wed)
« on: December 12, 2007, 08:56:36 AM »
2 important big east games to defend our league's battered RPI tonight.

Depaul vs #20 Vanderbilt  &  Cinn vs #17 Xavier.

A-10 conference (Xavier's) already has multiple wins over BE teams this year.

Rhode Island alone (my daughter's alma mater) is 3-0 vs BE

Lets root for Depaul & Cinn tonight.
(although I admit I rooted for URI in their impressive win @ Syracuse a few days ago)

URI has been killing it since I predicted them to beat Providence on the Radio show for the upset pick of the week.

Wish we played a stronger  local group for ooc.

Subbing in 2 of St Joe, URI, UMASS, Temple for the 2 of the locals

URI has a fantastic on campus facility (think Gampel), we could only dream of

They're good, and I think the Big East may have some susprises along with some teams that just aren't as strong as they were.

Cuse will have some growing pains, but unlike us, at least they've been tested.

Lousville is in trouble. Losing so much size overnight would hurt any program.

Cincy was expected to improve, but it looks like they pulled an SJU.

USF is showing some signs of turning a corner.

Pitt always starts off this way, and then they always fade.
