Taste of Coaching

Being that I inhabit both Big East and Big Ten channels, I was able to catch up and watch Seth Davis' take on coach interviews with a 6 part "A Taste of Coaching."  Mimicking my local DC Sports Junkies' MASN show, "Table Manners," the guests simply sit around a restaurant table and bs while they (try) to eat their meals.


Part I had both Lavs and Turge, so I was excited to see what they had to say. There were some interesting takeaways that I had, but I'll save them until you all get a chance to see Parts I, and soon Part II.  Imo, Lavs was very frank and overall solid.  Cuonzo Martin and Johnny Dawkins also were on, so some of you see what Cuonzo and Lavs discusses with Seth.

Oh - maybe episode three is part I, 4 is Part II - thanks for correcting me.  I will be looking for episode 4 now

This sort of thing cries out for a recap from Fun. I want his take on everything from Lavin's dinner attire to his table manners.

I believe a dinner jacket with sweat pants and sandals

 No matter what Lavin wears he still has Ed Cooley beat. I have no idea how he is able to recruit. He has Lord Voldemort  on the back of his head. Reference to first Harry Potter to those of you with little kids.
