I went. Pretty good crowd. There was a separate room for it upstairs and it was pretty packed. Mullin got there very late (about 6:45ish I believe) and the Q&A with Rothstein was only about 15 minutes or so before he was rushed out the door because of a recruiting obligation according to Jon.
Most of the questions from Jon were very general, asking about his transition to coaching/recruiting and some questions about his playing days with the Pacers/Dream Team and how this compared to being a GM. Not much concrete information gleamed from it but it was a good time nonetheless. All assistant coaches were there and seemed to be extremely social. Christ the King coach Joe Arbitello also showed up and was hanging out with Slice and The Maven for a good amount of the time.
Kudos to St. John's for putting on a free event like this. Would love to see these happen more often in order to engage the fan base and community a bit.
