Fordham Predictions...
« on: November 30, 2015, 07:08:36 PM »
This looks like the most improved Fordham team we've seen in a very long time. The typical over before it started vibe won't be here this time around. Instead, we'll see what at least on paper looks like an improved opponent. One that's primarily made up of guys who have suffered through blow out losses to St.John's. I expect them to come out fired up but I expect that only because I'd expect it from any team in their position.

Fordham jumps out to an early lead, but tougher defense on the arc slows down their attack, and we pull out a close one on the road.

STJ 78. Fordham 74.*

M'vouika with a career high 21. Sims with 12 and 10. Yakwe gives us a taste of what he can do, and what he needs to work on - lot. 3 points, but 7 rebounds and 2 blocks.

*Score prediction subject to change based on healthy and eligible players

Fordham gets a lead early hitting threes, Johnnies rally in second half, but come up short.

Fordham 78
SJU 70

Hard to predict anything with no sense of who is playing.

SJU 74
FU  69

Fordham lacks height, so SJU should be able to do damage on the glass.  Rhoomes has had four fouls in three of four games against D-1 teams this season.  Sima has been drawing fouls like crazy thus far.  Rhoomes is block-happy this year, so let's show him the ball on some shot-fakes.
