im suprised no one has mentioned that Louisville lost tonight. They lost to Western Kentucky 68-54. thats crazy and now Louisville is 2-1 and they were the #3 team in the nation, certainly not anymore.

heres the story: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?gameId=283350097

maybe we have a chance to make a little noise at least this season, but idk the chances of that

an impressive victory at that since they lost these 3 impact seniors: leading scorer Courtney Lee to the NBA, the kid who hit the big shot for them Ty Rogers, and their second leading scorer Tyrone Brazelton.

i didnt think the hilltoppers would be as good as last years team

I'm very very surprised at this and I was going to post but I've been working feverishly to update the site after my Miami/Thanksgiving hiatus. Mid-majors making noise this season and it is impressive to see continued success of some programs. I was watching the Niagara/Hartford game the other day and they were debating this as well as to how hard it is for these programs to put a winner on the court every year. Most of these programs rely heavily on seniors and can build a winner over 4 years but usually its more or less winning once every 4 years not so much year after year. So to see Western Kentucky looking good after losing basically the heart and soul(Lee and Brazleton) of their team last year is amazing.

Also to note Western Kentucky was pretty pissed they didn't land Tyshawn Edmondson too. They were after him hard and thought they had him in the bag.

Depending on Norm's substitution patterns, they may still get him.

I'm a pretty big fan of WKU and I don't think they were too crushed losing Edmondson.  I was just on campus a few weeks ago.  Unfortunately, I don't think they'll enjoy anywhere near the same success as last year, but they are one of the more storied programs in the country that most know nothing about.

Yea these are only a few threads where they were drooling over Edmondson and there are a few rant threads about when he signed with St. John's. They ripped into St. John's and made their case for WKU. There is one thread where one guy makes a case for the Sun Belt over the Big East. Either way like I said they were pretty pissed they really wanted Ty bad. Also there is more threads about him than I listed I only gave you some of the more juicy ones.
