I don't mean sound unappreciative of his comedic talents on the sidelines, but I wonder if anyone on the staff has given any thought to him actually playing?

We've got 9 guys left. He's one of them.

Things just got very real for Yakwe, Amar, Rich and to a certain degree Darien.

This starting 5 should never change moving forward barring a very small opponent-

Marcus/Shamorie/Bash/Kass/Tariq

Moose and Malik first off the bench. Amar and Rich to alleviate collectively. Darien in absolute emergencies but a capable body nonetheless.

Bases on Coach's use of Darien so far, I would make the following correction:

"Moose and Malik first off the bench. Amar and Rich to alleviate collectively. Darien in absolute emergencies but a capable body nonetheless."

The staff said he was fully recovered. It seems like we are not getting the full story.

People forget he was being touted as "the best player" on our team before last season. Iowa State (who are ranked) fan's were up in arms about St Johns taking him away from them and to see how much playing time hes gotten this season but still see him as positive as he is on the bench has made him one of my favorite players on the team.

He cares and he supports his team.

Thats better for us than a guy sulking at the end of the bench because Amar is playing more than him.

Bottom line should foul trouble arise against Penn St., Cuse or during the Big East season he's now being used.

He must be hurt right? Why didn't he come in when Holyfield did? Or did he and I missed it?

He clearly has a great attitude and seems to be an awesome teammate

That's what I think as well. He's not the same player and it's probably due to injury.

D Will is acting like the guys on the Monmouth bench last year.  Upbeat and into team success--hope he gets some PT.

I bet he is a good teammate. The gloating however, is pathetic. Monmouth was classless but at least they were playing Georgetown when they acted as if they had never known success like that. Well, actually they hadn't, but at St.John's we have.

Seems to be in Mullins doghouse. Couldn't even get garbage minutes against Fordham.

I think you guys forget he sat out his sophomore year of JUCO to keep 3 years eligibility. Then sat out last year with injury. It's been a while since he's actually played.

he's nothing more than a 30/30 player. Won't see the court unless it's a 30 point game with 30 seconds left

Giving him the benefit of the doubt that he is just getting his rehab workouts in during the game

He's not going to get rid of any of the rust sitting on the bench. He will be gone next year.
