Mount St. Mary's Alum and Fan here. It is true that this is the weakest MSM team in some time. Virtually a complete roster and coaching staff overhaul this year. Our former coach, Jamion Christian took his "Mayhem" style to Siena, where he will undoubtedly succeed there in a relatively short period of time. Several all-conference performers have transferred out of The Mount for seemingly greener pastures (although the results are mixed). Our biggest challenge is "youth", with the roster being made up of almost all freshmen and sophomores. The team has problems scoring, but usually defend well. At our level, it is important to tested like this to be ready for league play. The guarantee money is a plus as a by-product as well. The team will play hard and is actually fairly tough physically. We won't have nearly enough, but may make it respectable. SJU 81, MSM 57.
