This was a joke. You gotta lighten up.
Sorry.  For a second there I thought you fell to the dark side.  But you best believe that we are here on a St. John's University website and I will always be ready to make a strong case for and have the back of Chris Mullin as all of us should.

Take that sh*t to the Pukon, Syracuse and Gtown boards where it belongs.

What am I disappointed about?A "lazy borderline incompetent head coach" that was one of only 4 BE coaches to lead his team to the Ncaa tournament last season - matching the best season of any St. John's coach in a season starting this millennium? What does that say about the other 6 coaches that couldn't best him.

I hope and dream that some season in the not so distant future CTC can match that.

You hope we can make it and lose in the play in game?

In 4 seasons Mullin has lead the program to 1 post season tournament, no finish higher than 7th place, and an overall record of 59-73 (20-52 in BE play). He never had a winning conference record! That’s what you want this program to aspire to? Mullin was the greatest player in program history, he’s a great ambassador for the school. Let’s leave it at that.

Yes. That's the high water mark this century.

We haven't done better than that since the 1999/2000 season. Roberts, Lavin and Mullin couldn't do it. Jarvis only did it by paying players. At this point I won't believe that it can be done until I see it. Hopefully Anderson is the miracle worker that can achieve it. I'm taking a sensibly patient wait and see St. John's approach expecting the sky to fall at any moment.

Clarifying the record, I don't care how Slingblade spells Mullin and that he thinks it antagonizes me is about the funniest thing he's ever said, which admittedly isn't saying much because like most painfully stupid people he's dreadfully dull and awful. The word that I was offended by that he misspelled was "cupard," which is how he thought cupboard was spelled before I kindly corrected him and I was offended that a teacher - even a gym teacher - could be so illiterate and uneducated that he had to resort to spelling words used in nursery rhyme words phonetically and couldn't even manage that.
Been around sports all my life. Never heard of a man or team lose because of a cupard, cupcake, or cupboard or any other stupid word you and the other pansies could have come up with.
Mullin most definitely bothered you. You pansy ass bitch

Been around sports all my life. Some people call them athletics, I call them sports, hmmm mmmm. Never heard of a man or team lose because of a cupards or cupcakes or french fried potaters or potted meat or any other stupid word you and the other pansies could have come up with. Some people call them sissies, I call them pansies. Mmm-hmm. The Bible says two men ought not lay together. But I don't reckon the Good Lord would send anybody like you to Hades. Hmmm mmmm.

I believe you are incorrect. On the 1999-2000 team, who did Jarvis pay? There’s no knowledge of payments other than to Abe Keita, and I think Jarvis has paid dearly for that one.

Carmine- we were the last team selected. What if we weren’t? And sent to NIT? Then Mullins one winning season is a complete failure? I don’t believe you would argue that.
The year we won 20 games and lost to Robert Morris was a great year to be a St. John’s fans. We were one of the best teams in the country for about a month. Won some big home games. Plenty of fun.  Sucks we started so bad.

Yeah, I meant Keita. Victories were removed, no?

I refuse to correspond with rival fans on a St. John's message board that don't even have the decency to spell the name of our programs greatest legend correctly.

Out of excuses and full of shit. Not sure if you went to the game last night. Head coach was in charge. Assistants doing their part. Timeouts looked like a pit crew working.
