If reports were accurate he was the fourth choice. A while back I couldn't recall the third choice it was Odum after Hurley and Moser.

I read a Post article recently, Zach maybe, that mentioned Cluess as a candidate in addition to the 3 you mention. My "CFC" now stands for "Coach fifth choice".

Would not count Cluess. It appears we strung him along as a back up plan which is probably why he took himself out of the running.
