In-season Recruiting

Why knock a kid before he's ever played here and who you never seen? 

Some folks connected to the NJ Catholic school programs think this kid will be a good 4 year player.  Said he is a great kid, with a great work ethic, plays incredibly hard, has an excellent motor and think his hoop skills will develop nicely once he focuses on that, given how much time he devoted to football the past few years.  As stated, he was a top 10 recruit in football for his position and had offers from most of the blue-chip programs.  His mother did not want him playing football in college, hence the pursuit of hoops.

Looks like we re-secured the commitment of our committed recruit Brandon Gardener who after announcing he would not sign during the early signed period will now sign on Wednesday at a ceremony at CTK HS.
