Thank God. Its a shame this kid cant get his head straight, he is a perfect example of how important the mental part of the sport is.

I don't know why they don't dangle his 21 million expiring contract to a team. There should be plenty of teams around the league who would want that type of expiring deal. Even if the Knicks took on a 13 mil expiring and someone's 5-7 mil deal it could be worth it they'd still shed a lot of cap + get someone of value.

Perhaps this is just a trick to get GMs on the phone to offer some contracts they want to get off the books instead of the Knicks just releasing him.

houston was just signed.

NYK are really pushing for james to retire, so the insurance company can pay for half (or something like that) of his salary.

i think marbury, james, rose, and h20 will get cut.  hopefully pat ewing jr is sent to the nbdl
