Absolutely awful job here by Sargent.  Unfortunately, the few good sideline reporters out there get stereotyped by people generating this type of nonsense that can't get their facts straight.

At least she didn't put her foot in her mouth and just said she forgot...    its not like she was calling someone the wrong name or talking about the wrong team...

Here is the opening sentence in her latest article.  What does "pendants.com" mean? Does she mean "pundits"?:

At first, the quiet junior did not shine and the pendants.com questioned why he is a Rivals five star. Rice and Pine Crest, FL faced-off on day one of the Big Apple Basketball High School Invitational.

I run the Texas Rangers' site on Scout.com and I'm also a staff writer for University of Texas baseball on the UT site. I consider myself a pretty good writer.

When I run across people like Stacey, I get upset because it ruins everyone's credibility at sites like Rivals or Scout. If you write like you are illiterate, you could be explaining the Theory of Relativity, but it won't matter. You're going to be perceived as a bumbling idiot with no crediblity. And that's what Stacey comes across as. I seriously don't know what she's even trying to say through most of her articles.

I have no problem openly speaking out against her. Any journalist with no journalism skills whatsoever deserves to be criticized -- end of story. Just since the beginning of this thread, she's gotten LIU in trouble with the NCAA for not knowing the rules of recruiting, reported a large handful of factual inaccuracies (about one per article really) and clearly has no ability to write.
